James Bond Theme
I have always loved the music of the James Bond films — those legendary themes, at once elegant and taut, that belong to our collective memory. With this piece I wanted to step into that world and offer my own reading of it on the synthesiser.
Toccata and Fugue — J.S. Bach
I wanted to play this toccata I love so much, giving it a little more bite and adding, in a very few places, some accompanying notes. My intention is not to transform it — who am I to allow myself to retouch Bach? Simply to let it be heard differently, on an instrument that has nothing to do with the liturgical organ: the synthesiser.
Vélocité
The title says it all — velocity: a dynamic, lively piece that takes flight and weaves several themes together as it runs its course.
Rock'n voice
A piece born of the simple pleasure of rock — that straightforward energy that makes you vibrate, that driving momentum which needs no justification. No hidden message here, no symbolism: just the joy of playing, of feeling the beat, and of letting yourself be carried by a pulse that runs across the generations.
Poursuite symphonique
This piece gave me the feeling of a chase — a swashbuckling scene carried by period instruments. Nervous strings, blaring brass, hammering percussion: everything evokes the pursuit, the shortness of breath, the urgency of an ending drawing near. A musical hunt in which every section seems to advance its pieces across the board of sound.
Dubstep
I am especially fond of this style of music — hence the title, a direct tribute to the genre. The piece is partly improvised. Just the energy of the moment and the characteristic pulse of dubstep, with its deep bass and its broken rhythms.
Poporico
The title blends two words: pop for the style, and cocorico — the French for a rooster's crow — for the joyful energy of morning. A piece as luminous as a sunrise, waking you gently before moving into a driving rhythm. Good humour set to music, plain and simple.
Pat House
« Pat's house »: a piece built like a puzzle, from musical elements assembled step by step in the software. Each part finds its place to form a coherent whole, designed from the outset to make people dance. An invitation to let the body move, without thinking.
Électro Lyse
An electro piece with a play on words: Lyse — a French first name hidden inside électrolyse, electrolysis — stands here for the human being, you, me, each of us, whom this music comes to electrify. A charge of sound that runs through the body, sets the senses vibrating and wakes something alive. Electricity as a metaphor for the energy that runs through us and sets us in motion.
The Pink Panther
As with the James Bond theme, the music of the Pink Panther accompanied my youth. Those hushed, mischievous melodies, with their unmistakable saxophone — a real little jewel of the cinema. Taking up this theme on the synthesiser was a genuine delight, a return to that world at once elegant and playful which meant so much to me.
Évasion
A piece imagined as the soundtrack to an outlaw on the run, fleeing his prison in the night. Suspense, mounting tension, a breathless chase: you hear the footsteps striking the ground, the sirens closing in, the fugitive's breath that can no longer stop. An escape in sound, where every bar puts a little more distance between him and the cell.
Funky Love
A tribute to all the funk music we love — the kind that gets your foot tapping from the very first bars. Groovy bass, rhythm guitar, cutting brass: every code of the genre is here, embraced and celebrated. A declaration of love to a style that never grows old, and that still brings everyone together on the dance floor.
Électrolove
The love of electro, a whole programme in itself. Synthetic pulses, luminous layers, gradual builds that call you to move: this piece is a declaration of love to a genre that knows how to make you dance and dream at once. An electronic journey where every sound finds its place in an architecture in constant evolution.
Désopoiler
An invented title, blending the French désopiler and se poiler — both meaning to laugh out loud: laughter, high spirits, a smile at the corner of the lips. All of it carried by the rhythm of the samba, which invites you to let go, to forget your worries and to live the moment fully. A joyful, sunlit, contagious interlude.
Blues Rock
A blend of blues and rock, for the sheer pleasure of the ear. The sensitivity of the blues, its blue notes that have something to tell, meets the energy of rock and its irresistible drive. Two worlds that have always spoken to one another, brought together here in a piece that takes its time while knowing how to build in power.
